Although our physical inventory was unaffected by the Altadena wildfires in January 2025, our ability to process orders has been severely affected. Mythcon Proceedings

We have published the proceedings from a handful of Mythcons. Back issues are archived for most of these proceedings.

The year before the first annual Mythopoeic Conference, society founder Glen GoodKnight organized a one-day conference in 1969. The proceedings provide a unique record of a lively symposium presenting a number of viewpoints on Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia.

Papers delivered at the first three annual conferences of the Society, covering Tolkien, Lewis, Williams and a variety of other fantasy authors and works.

Beginning with Mythcon IV, papers presented at conferences have been considered for our scholarly journal, Mythlore.

Conference Program Books

Most program books have been scanned and are available for free online at our Mythsoc archive at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Exceptions are the program books from Mythcon 5 in 1974, and Mythcon 9 in 1978. If anyone happens to have a copy of either of these books, please contact the Society Archivist at archives@mythsoc.org to arrange to donate them or have them scanned.
